1872, 10 sen dull green, Matsuda printing, crisp impression, showing complete and neat strike of “SHIP” straight-line handstamp. Scarce. (JHES ¥38,000; JSCA ¥40,000).Note: The “Ship” handstamp was a Japanese paquebot forerunner type into service between 1875 and 1886, used in post offices of ports in Japan and those in China and Korea with IJPA/IJPO.
