1871, 200 mon vermillion, plate 1, vertical block of eight, positions 12-13 / 20-21 / 28-29 / 36-37, including the constant variety in position 36, in an appealing refulgent colour, just touched at bottom left , cancelled by two strikes of large “Tokyo Kensazumi” hs, of which one displayed complete.In superb condition for this very rare block of stunning appearance.Provenance: Heinrich Salomon 75th Auction (lot 1894, applied on piece at that time)Takahashi Private Treaty 1995 (¥1’200’000 = €8’400)
