10pa Pale lilac, block of four, neatly tied on 1871 envelope from Alessandria to Cairo, by POSTE VICE-REALI EGIZIANE / ALESSANDRIA / 26.OTT.71 cds with similar alongside, POSTE VICE-REALI EGIZIANE / CAIRIO / arrival bs, cover flap missing and some minor stains affecting the stamps, a rare usage of the 10pa low value making up the 40 para rate, showpiece.
