1pi Claret, vertical pair, top stamp perforation 13 x 12½ and bottom stamp 13 x 12½ x12½ x12½, both neatly tied by two retta strikes on folded 1866 entire from Cairo to Samanud, with POSTE VICE-REALI EGIZIANE / CAIRO / 20.LUGL.66 cds in red alongside, plus POSTE VICE-REALI EGIZIANE / SAMANUD / 20.LUGL.66 clear crisp arrival bs, a fine and very scarce usage of the compound perforation.

Note: The red cancellation was only in use for 51 days as per Smith page 153.
