5pa Greenish grey, two horizontal strips of four, tied on 1867 large part cover to Cairo, by POSTE VICE-REALI EGIZIANE / ALESSANDRIA / 23.LUL.67 cds and similar alongside, cover flap missing, an outstanding franking paying the one piastre rate, owners hs on reverse, showpiece.

One of the largest franking of the five para value.
