Description
Temascaltepec 1r yellow in pair, cut into at base and right, otherwise enormous margins with portion of adjoining stamps, on May 7, 1859 entire letter to Tasco, cancelled by the “franco” handstamp on dispatch (Schatzkès #1610). Only two covers known from this district with this value. Cert. Mepsi (2001). NF $150 as singles off-cover. Ex Boris Rubio (lot #2184, Richard Wolfers, January 1978).
