Description
Polotitlán 1r yellow, no overprint, a well margined example of rich colour and striking appearance also provided by the well-struck cancellation (Schatzkès #1145). Probably originating from the direct shipment to this town, which was not a district. Only 360 stamps were sent. Cert. Mepsi (2008). NF $1,000. Catalogue ref: Scott 2c
