Lot 20053 – 1856 Lagos, Guadalajara 2 Reales Green + 4 Reales Red Diligencias de Lagos group

Lagos, 4r red and Guadalajara 2r green, showing Diligencias de Lagos usages, including well margined 4r single with a bold strike of “Diligs Generales/Admon. de Lagos” stagecoach double oval; the other value, a 2r cut slightly into at right, used on a cover to Mexico City displaying a magnificent strike. A very rare and desirable handstamp (Schatzkès #661).
