1790 ca. Undated cover from Spain to Lima, registering postmarks of Cádiz including framed “7 Pta” corresponding to the 7 Reales triple maritime rate and, also in red, “Cadiz” straight-line. Conveyed by the “San Pedro” frigate as indicated at lower left. Only two covers are documented with this triple-rate marking for transatlantic mail. Ex Camino and Sitjà.
