Description

Provisional Government. 1860 1c violet-brown, very lightly hinged at top with original gum, full to large margins, very fresh and showing a bright colour. A choice example of this very rare multiple. Cert. P.F. (2001), each stamp backstamped W.H.C. for Warren Howard Colson, a famous American dealer from Boston. Sassone €45,000.
