1837 (July 21st) Folded cover sent from New York via Cork to London, endorsed “p. St Andrus“, showing clear crisp boxed black CORK / SHIP LETTER, very fine and scarce.
Note: Paying the double rate “4/2”, 8d ship letter, 1/5 Cork to London including 2d packet and Menai Bridge 1d = 2/1 x2 = 4/2.
