Charles Whiting: An embossed sample produced by the Congreve process, printed in buff and with decorative frame and allegorical figures embossed in colourless relief and with ”WHITING PATENTEE” within the frame at left, very fine and attractive. Taken from ”THE ROYAL CAMEO SCRAP BOOK OF EMBOSSED HEADS” published by Kendall & Son.
