Japan – WWI German POW mail: 1915-16 collection neatly mounted and knowledgeably written up on 53 exhibit pages of German Prisoner of War mail from Japan to fellow internees in Hong Kong, with mail mainly sent to wounded marines who were only in Hong Kong for a mere 11 months before being transferred to Australia, included in the display is mail to 26 different recipients out of the 76 German marines recorded there, representing the largest know group of such mail to date, with mail from the following camps: Marugame, Matsuyama, Oita, Osaka and Narashino.
