1896 (May 18) Greek Olympic Committee printed postcard in green sent to the Turkish Consul in Patras, with the Committee cachet in red, Athens “1” despatch cds and Patras arrival backstamp, some minor foxing, scarce and attractive, ex “Zappeion” (DF Nov 1999). Note: During the Games, the local Organising Committee postal correspondence was free of charge.
