1919 (Sept 12) Postcard from Poznan (formerly Posen in Eastern Prussia, Germany, assigned to Poland by the Treaty of Versailles) to Como, with “Missione Militare Italiana in Polonia” double circle in violet with coat of arms without banderole, unnecessarily franked with “Germania” 20pf by the sender, French “F.M.” slightly tying the franking, carried by French diplomatic bag to Paris with cds. An extremely rare combination with the Italian cachet, the French mail and the German stamp.
