Description

1913 Three postcards to Italy bearing “Hellenic Administration” overprinted values, of which two being 5L stationery cards with additional 5L, sent by an Italian soldier in Filippias, in both expressing his anxiety to see Janina falling out of the hands of the Turkish, the third sent by a seaman of the R.N. “Pisa” or “San Marco” (mentioned in the text) with 5L pair (one defective) tied by blue “Tenedos/Sozoja-Ada” cds (Tenedos was the first island of the north Aegean to come under the control of the Greeks).
