1921 (March 3-6) Two covers to Italy sent by Italian members of the Boundary Commission between Germany and Poland, both with German frankings, one registered from Breslau showing “Confini Germano Polacchi/Commissione di Delimitazione-Delegazione Italiana”Trattato di Versailles 1919” double circle in violet, the other from Berlin exhibiting cachet with the same reading but surprisingly smaller in a most unusual format for the Italian types used in Europe; both markings are repeated on back, where also the arrival appears. An extremely rare duo.
