1917 (July 7) Registered cover from Corfu to Calcutta, franked by “Michetti” 50c tied by “Corfu’/Poste Italiane” cds, “Poste Italiane” registration label at left covered by the censorship label as part of the franking, denoting with violet crayon the origin of the correspondence “Corfù”, carried via Bologna and Genoa with corresponding cds’s and arrival on reverse; an absolutely exceptional destination.
