1944 (May 5) International Red Cross committee formula sheet from Shanghai, showing violet oval “Comite International Croix Rouge / SHANGHAI”, sent to Italy via Turkish Red Cross, showing red cds “Comite International de la Croix Rouge Delegation en Turquie” cachet, censor mark Egypt, transit mark Geneva; arrival dated 12 OCT 1945; the letter being carried for 17 months due to the WWII. Very scarce and interesting item.
