Description

1903 (July 28) Unused postcard exhibiting the “Stazione Radiotelegrafica Italiana/Pechino” cds in blue. On 28.7.1903 the Italians started the works to open the first radio-telegraphic station in China, which will work with the Guglielmo Marconi system; as a souvenir of this historical event, some postcards were distributed to the guests who lived this fact, including Chinese and European authorities; very few of these items have survived. Signed Fiorenzo Antonio Zanetti.

Additional scans and images are being uploaded on a continuous basis, and the complete set of illustrations for all lots will be available by 1 June 2026.
