Lot 20393 – Italian Partisans in Montenegro: 1943 (Nov)-1944 (Dec) Four covers

Italian Partisans: 1943 (Nov)-1944 (Dec) Four covers sent by Italians of the former Divisions “Venezia” and “Taurinense” who refused to fight with the Germans, and formed the “Garibaldi” Partisan Division in December 1943, all except one sent postage free and three showing the P.M. 151 cds applied at Brindisi (Italy), the fourth with a civilian cds, all carried by allied airplanes (the senders indicating the units and the former “P.M. 99” or “Montenegro”). A very rare and fascinating group.
