BETASOM Submarine Atlantic Base: 1942 (Aug 29) Postcard from Bordeaux to Trieste with hand illustrated submarine with royal crown and “fascio” at base, full text on reverse, franed by “Imperiale” 25c pair, tied by violet crayon cross and straight-line datestamp. An exceptional case of mail forwarded by courier from the Submarine Base.
