1923 (Sept) Postcard to Brindisi with heading “Zona sprovvista di francobolli” in manuscript (zone without stamps available), sanctioned by “Militari Italiani a Corfù/Francatura a carico destinatario” two-line hs and nevertheless not taxed, with cachet “R° Sommergibile” at top right. A rare usage with additional interest for originating from a submarine.
