Lot 20140 – 1921 Postcard with Rhodes 5c & 10c with “Castellorizo/Poste Italiane” hs

1921 (April 16) Postcard from the secretary of the Italian Governor of Castellorizo to Pontedera (Italy), sent short after the French transferred the control of the island to the Italians, franked by Rhodes overprinted “Leoni” 5c & 10c, tied by “Castellorizo/Poste Italiane” double circle with coat of arms in violet, repeated on reverse, also tied by Rome machine cancel in transit. Very scarce.
