1898 (Apr 18) Envelope from Reverend Herbert (initialled top right) sent from Koki with manuscript “Left Koki April 18” on backflap, with 1896 4a uncancelled in combination with B.E.A. 1896-1901 2 1/2a tied by Mombasa squared circle, some minor soiling, fine.
Note: Sent in the period when Archdeacon Walker was in acting charge of postal matters who left the Uganda stamps uncancelled.
