1872 (Nov 22) Cover to Braila franked with 10b blue, Paris issue, perforated 14: 13 1/2, tied by large double circle Calafat in blue, addressed to the Faranga brothers, endorsed “Cu Vaporu” (by Steamboat) and delivered by a Danube steamer as an exception from the regular overland postage; the cover is one of the latest recorded dates for the DDSG postal arrangement; while the Paris issue was first introduced in October 1872, the letter was sent on the 22nd November 1872, days before the expiration of the DDSG agreement; exceptional postal history item; signed Heimbüchler; ex Heimbüchler.
