Lot 50240 – 1869 15b vermilion in combination with 3b violet “TINTARENI” cds, rarest PO of the entire Romanian classics

1869 (Sept 12) Fragment bearing a mixed franking of the 1869 15b vermilion, used in combination with 1870 3b violet, both four margins, tied to small piece by rare star type A62 “TINTARENI” cds, forming the 18b rate for a simple domestic letter, this cancellation a great rarity; Tintareni is a small post office and one of the rarest of the entire Romanian classic philately (Heimbüchler = RR).
