Description

1913 “OHHS” 5m rose-carmine, single in combination with 1893 (No Value) chestnut, both tied on large 1914 legal size OHHS printed registered envelope from Alexandria sent locally “En Ville”, by ALEXANDRIA/14.X.14 cds, with registered hs in blue and circular cachet ALEXANDRIA/PORTS & LIGHTHOUSES ADMINISTRATION in the same colour both alongside.

Very fine and an important rarity, only two such covers have been recorded, showpiece.
