5pa dull brown, perf. 12 1/2, single neatly tied by ALESSANDRIA cds on “LE NIL” large part newspaper, a very fine printed matter usage paying the single local newspaper rate, a very rare usage.

Note: Le Nil was a twice weekly newspaper, started in 1866 in Alexandra. Shortly after this copy was posted the newspaper was shutdown as the editor advocated that Egypt should be separated from Turkey.
