Description
1842 (Feb 15) entire letter from South Petherton to London, bearing 1840 1d. black, pl. 4 , AF, with good to large margins the cover re-addressed to Hastings, bearing 1841 1d. red- brown, OL, (cut into at top), both adhesives having been removed a re hinged into place, neatly tied by fine strikes of the black Maltese cross; small cover faults though a very rare and most attractive mixed franking.
