1840 (Nov 17) 1d Fores’s Musical envelope from Darlington to bath cancelled at upper right by a fine strike of the “Heighington / Penny Post” handstamp in black, and additionally bearing 1840 1d black at foot (corner missing) neatly cancelled by a red Maltese cross. some faults though a great rarity, ex Grunin.
