1842 (Jan 21) 1d Mulready letter sheet, stereo A44, from Cullompton to Exeter, solely cancelled contrary to regulations by the double arc ds, fine and very rare being one of two examples recorded by Rockoff and Jackson used as a date stamp (illustrated in Vol. 3, the other example cancelling a 1d red on cover).
