1840 (May 22) 1d black Mulready lettersheet (A67), used locally within Edinburgh, cancelled by an orange Maltese Cross, some soiling, two vertical creases, worn around the edges, a lovely combination of orange MC used in May 1840, cert. Mike Jackson (S.G. ME1vh, £2200).
