1877 (Nov 3) Letter sent from La Guaira to St Thomas, franked with a pair and a single of the HAPAG 10c yellow and blue-green, tied by blue La Guaira HAPAG type a oval handstamp from César Múller Agents, carried on the steamer “Lotharingia”, arrival cds on reverse, paying a three ounces letter weight, small tear in top into first stamp on the left and a vertical filing crease on right hand side which affects the last stamp on the right, otherwise very fine; one of three recorded letters known with the triple postage, and one of the greatest rarities of Venezuelan maritime mail; cert.
