1869 (July 24) Entire sent from La Guaira to Bordeaux, via St Thomas, with bold strike of the “Guayra Franca” circular cancel, endorsed “per W I mail”, with charge mark “10” and the accountancy mark “GB/1F60c” (Anglo-Franco treaty), a Calais transit dated ‘Aug 14’ also to front, on the reverse a London cds ‘Aug 14’, Paris ‘Aug 15’ and arrival ‘Aug 16’, tear to back, otherwise fine and scarce.
