1878, 300r ochre, horizontal block of six, full ABN marginal inscription through the perforation at base, struck with elusive complete “Directoria Geral dos Correios/Thezouraria/Rio de Janeiro” oval official hs (Ayres 1641), small grease spot in margin at right; one of just two used blocks of six recorded, unique being horizontal; signed R.A.M.; ex Dr. de Amaral Machado.
