1878, 300r ochre, imperforate plate proofs on India paper without gum, a splendid horizontal block of eight from the top left margin of the sheet, ABN imprint at top where the sheet margin is complete and showing guideline at left, couple of creases affecting one stamp only as encountered (or wrinkles) in the few other large multiples known; a key and unique positional piece; ex Dr. de Amaral Machado.
