1866, 200r black, on 7 May 1868 entire letter from Campos to Rio de Janeiro, tied by dotted lozenge, with Campos cds (6 May, although datelined inside and docketed on receipt as originating on 7 May), additionally tied by cork cancel with rhomboid inside, endorsed “Vapor” at base, carried by the “Goitacaz”, paying 100 réis for the first-rate internal postage and 90 réis (10r overpaid) to the Brazilian company according to the contract made for maritime mail bags conveyed between Campos and Rio, vertical crease and some usual ageing; one of two letters known mailed through the “Cia. Navegação Goitacaz”, a Brazilian maritime company.
