Switzerland – Canton Geneva – 1843-45 Issues, lot of 21 items, including Double Geneva with part negative glass cliché (portion missing), Half Geneva with four clichés on celluloid in the preferred vermilion and black shades to obtain good contrasts, one dated Oct-49 and indicating that it was “too retouched”, “Small Eagle” in three clichés on celluloid in vermilion, red and black; the section of cancellations featuring the “rosette” with two glass clichés and four additional on celluloid, “Genève” cds with three clichés on celluloid, and another three of the mute grid printed in red and yellow-grey; a very rare assembly.
