Description
1867-83 £5 orange on strongly BLUED paper, DE, unused no gum, with repaired tear at bottom touching the N of Pounds, good perforation and fresh colour. A very rare stamp of which only around 20 unused examples are known, the majority with small faults, cert. Karl-Albert Louis BPP (2017), ex de Phillip (Robson Lowe auction 4 November 1959 lot 240).
