1861 Woodblock 4d carmine instead of blue, error of colour, just touched at part of the right side, otherwise clear margins, cancelled by barred triangle cancel, in a contrasting premium state of preservation in comparison to most of the other examples known, which are affected by faults; a remarkable sound-condition example of this classic world rarity; (S.G. £95’000).
