1870 (Mar 13) large piece of cover with astonishing franking Mauritius 1863-72 4d rose pair in combination with France 1867 20c blue (4) tied by ‘B64’ Seychelles obliterator, with Seychelles cds alongside, unique combination. Evidently the British authorities objected that a French official was acting as a post officer and such practise was terminated the same year by the British authorities.
