1d red, HORIZONTAL STRIP OF THREE, clear to large margins, together in combination with Post Paid 1d from the worn impression, large to very large even margins, all neatly tied by oval bar cancels, the strip is additionally tied by a faint pen-stroke, on 1860 folded letter sheet from Mauritius via Suez and Marseille to Granville, France, fine array of despatch, transit and arrival bs, few small cover faults that do not detract from the outstanding franking, an exhibition showpiece
