1872 1c Orange specialised mint group showing constant varieties, incl. “opposite frame flaws” in two vert. pairs, “top left corner flaw” in vert. pair and block of 4, “dented frame at top right” in two vert. pairs and single, “break in frame at top right” in vert. pair and single, “blotch above E in PRINCE” in single and block of four which also shows “chap above 1 & ONE” (also showing in a vert pair), “break in frame above E in EDWARD” in vert. pair and two singles and “top left corner damaged” in block of four, “thorn at top right” in vert. pair and single, all mint nh and mostly very fine, with mix of shades and perfs, an attractive lot for the specialist Catalogue ref: SG 34/36
