1840 Missionary letter from S. Simons at Rock Sound to the Methodist centre in London, with “BAHAMAS” straight-line hand stamp (Ludington type B4) on top backflap which opens to display, with 1/- manuscript rate, arrival bs, an exceptionally fine strike of this rare hs, one of only five examples reported to exist in private hands
