1912 4d Eve’s Wreath design colour essay in bartollozzi brown on imperforate pink unwatermarked gummed paper, produced by Miller & Motley using their Printex machine, mounted on card with annotations for the colour at foot, very fine and scarce (See SG Spec. fig.27c) 1912 4d Trial of Eve’s Wreath Design (22mm). Very fine example produced by the printex method, printed in bartollozzi brown on pink gummed unwatermarked paper mounted on card with annotations at foot “Bartollozzi Brown on tinted paper”. Scarce.
