1854-57 1d Red-Brown, blued paper, wmk Small Crown, perf.14 die II, Alph II, pl.1, in mint og lower left corner marginal plate block of 12, showing plate number, large part of the marginal inscription and part of the printer’s cross, stamps unmounted, SA with some minor gum disturbance, wrinkling and light vert. gum crease through TA, a very fine and fresh multiple, a showpiece item for an introduction to the Penny Red Die II exhibit (SG £12’750+)
