1914 Persia Censored Mail: An album page written up detailing the onset of war and Britain declares Martial Law, with an envelope franked to back with Ahmad Shah First Portrait 2c and 10c, sent from Kerman to Berne Switzerland, via Bender Abbas, where the cover received a rare “Opened under Martial Law.” sealing paper label and tied by violet handstamp both front and back “PASSED CENSOR / BOMBAY”, very scarce
