Military: 1917 British and Russian collaboration. In November 1916 Russia moved troops into Persia to Aveh, the FPO 165 accompanied the troops. This envelope sent 15 Jan 1917 from Aveh via FPO 165 and addressed to Lt Colonel Napier (famous Philatelist) in Teheran, with a fine strike in violet of the “Caucasus Army Military in Persia”, very fine, scarce
