1896, busta in franchigia del 2 febbraio per Pisa con bollo militare azzurro “Comando del Forte di Cheren” con stemma sabaudo in centro, e cerchio a data “Cheren/Eritrea” (Sorani p.12), più di un mese prima della prima data nota da Buzzetti per questo bollo (10 marzo 1896).
